Happy Monday!
I’m counting down the Mondays I have left in my Studio. Leaving here will be bittersweet, for sure. Over the next few weeks I’m going to be sharing some of my favourite moments that I’ve captured in my Studio over the last year.

Hey everyone!
I just wanted to pop in to give everyone a pretty big update. Some of you know, most of you don’t, there have been some big changes happening in my life over the last half year. Ideally, I’d like to say they wouldn’t impact my business, but reality is that they have and will continue to for the foreseeable future. My page has been quieter as I navigate, but I am still very much open for business and happy to see all of your smiling faces and squishy new wee humans. 
We’re getting close to the time when I need to announce that I will be moving (yet again), into North Bay (I’m currently in Callander). However, this time, I’m not sure if I will have a studio space to call my own right away, as I always have in the past. I am so blessed to be surrounded and embraced by such an amazing community though (both the local photography community and other small businesses) who have offered me the use of their spaces, as needed, until I’m able to find my own footing again, and for that I am beyond grateful.
If you were hoping to have a session in my current space, I will be here until the end of June (early July at the latest) so I recommend booking soon! Anyone else looking to book a newborn session with me after that time, I would still absolutely love to see you, and will discuss booking options with you when you contact me.
As a result of these changes, I will begin offering in-home lifestyle newborn sessions again (these were always my favourite because they also come with the option of short Memories in Motion films!) Studio style newborn sessions will still be possible. After June, my focus for family sessions will be outdoors or in your own home. I will also begin offering Personal Branding Photography to small businesses and entrepreneurs in the very near future, and I’m SUPER pumped about this!
My hours of operation will be changing as of May 8th, with my availability being limited to select weekend dates, Mondays, and weekday evenings (by appointment only).
If you’ve read this far, thank you! You have all always been so encouraging and supportive, and I’m so grateful for all of you as I navigate my way to this next chapter of my life.

The Rainbow Collection Now Booking | North Bay & Callander Family Photographer
It’s that time again! We might be heading into another Summer heatwave, but just around the corner will be the cool, crisp air of Fall; Pumpkin Spice Lattes, warm and cozy sweaters; and beautiful, vibrant COLOURS!
This years’ Fall Mini Event will happen on Friday October 1st AND Saturday October 2nd with timeslots at 8, 8:30, 9, 9:30, and 10am AND 3:30, 4, 4:30, and 5pm for best light. These sessions will take place in the North Bay area (likely Callander) and exact location will be given a few weeks prior to your session.

Temporary Closure – COVID-19 Concerns | North Bay & Callander Photographer
**UPDATE**
I have thought long and hard about this decision, and it physically pains me – especially considering my beautiful new studio is literally JUST finally finished and ready for business! You all know what I’m about to say, by this point, I’m sure…
While I sit here fretting about how I will pay my bills (as far as I can see, at this point, self-employed folks like me aren’t getting anything in the way of financial relief or assistance) it’s not lost on me that my children are worried – not about money – and their worries are the most important thing right now. When I put my daughter to bed for the last bunch of nights, her typically happy-go-lucky, not-a-care-in-the-world little face has had traces of anxiety peeking through. Unfortunately, she’s part of the “higher risk” population, and we’ve had to explain to her a little more about why she needs to be extra careful, as a result. I can tell that she’s trying not to let it get to her, but when she goes to bed at night, I can see it weighing on her little mind.
For her, and for people like her, I will be temporarily closing my doors, and doing my part to encourage “social distancing” until further notice. All bookings that were on my March calendar have been postponed, and no further bookings will be accepted until it’s safe to do so. I’m happy to book people in for sessions 2-3 months from now, and am not taking deposits for those bookings at this time. I am finishing up all of the retouching for sessions that happened before this pandemic was announced, and I will be offering online downloads of files for those folks until they feel comfortable picking up their packages.
I thank you all for your support and understanding. This closure is temporary, and I cannot WAIT to open my doors again (hopefully soon!)
