2024 Client Appreciation Contest

In order to submit an entry, you must have had a session with Raindance Photography in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 or 2024. Please attach your favourite image from our session together (one entry per client per session only please - collages with multiple images will not be accepted). If you are submitting one entry from more than one session, please fill out a new submission form for each entry.

In order for your entry to qualify, you must tell me WHY it is your favourite! :) Keep in mind that what you write down will be published on Facebook for voting.

For legal purposes, all clients wishing to participate in this contest must have filled out a model release. If you originally declined a model release, but would like to reconsider at this time, please contact me and I will forward the model release form to you.

What Can We Win?

Grand Prize (Winner selected via random.org) - Complimentary All Inclusive Portrait Session of any session type (up to $900 Value).

Secondary Prize 1 (Winner to be chosen by grand prize winner) - Mini Session - winner's choice of in-studio or outdoors. 10 photos of choice with access to ordering gallery. ($250 value)

Secondary Prize 2 (Winner calculated by number of Facebook Votes Received) - $200 Gift Certificate to use towards any Raindance Photography service in 2025

Secondary Prize 3 (Winner calculated by number of Facebook Votes Received) - 16x20 Gallery Wrap Canvas of the entry submitted.

Secondary Prize 4 (Winner calculated by number of Facebook Votes Received) - $100 Gift Certificate to use towards any Raindance Service in 2025.
Contest Rules

1. Grand Prize winner will be chosen at random using random.org or another random number generator on Thursday January 9, 2025. In order to be eligible to claim their prize, grand prize winner will then be responsible for reading through the other entries and choosing one other entry to win a secondary prize of a mini session of their choosing in 2025. If the grand prize winner fails to choose a secondary winner within 48 hours, they will forfeit their winning and another name will be drawn at random. The winning session must take place between January - December, 2025, by appointment only.

2. Secondary (2, 3, and 4) Prize winners will be chosen based on the number of "votes" that are received on their entries via Facebook. Votes must be cast by "liking" or "reacting" to the image within the contest album. Any votes cast on link shares or by commenting "vote" rather than "liking" the image will not count.

3. All prizes must be redeemed between January-December, 2025, and any sessions will take place in Barrie OR North Bay, Ontario.

4. Prizes have no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash. Product prize winners may not substitute the product for digital files or credit for a future session. Winnings may not be combined with any other promotional offer.

5. Text submitted along with your photo entry, as well as the photo you've submitted to the contest, will be published on the Raindance Photography blogsite as well as in the Facebook Contest album, and Instagram.

6. All entries must be received by December 31, 2024 @ 11:59pm. Voting will open on January 1, 2025 and close on January 8, 2025, at midnight. Winners will be announced on January 9, 2025, via the Raindance Photography blog, Facebook, and Instagram.

7. The Raindance Photography 2024 Client Appreciation Contest is not endorsed by or affiliated with Facebook or Instagram in any way.

8. Cheating will not be tolerated and anyone found to be cheating will be immediately disqualified. You may not solicit votes by offering payment of any sort.
