It’s been nearly a year since I met up with this fabulous family for a Fall Photo Session here in Barrie! The colours last year were late, but these guys were lucky to have some fall leaves to play in during their session! I love this time of year so much… warm, earthy colours; sweaters and jeans (if it ever cools down, lol), pumpkin spice lattes, turning on the fireplace for the first time! The Falco Family | Barrie Family and Child Beach Photographer
I have had the great privilege of watching this family grow since little Benny was still in his Mama’s belly… he is now TWO! I met up with this family last month to help document Benny’s second birthday as well as update their family portraits. What a crazy day that day was. Just before leaving for the session, we discovered my son’s beloved hamster, Speckles, had gone up to heaven, and during his very hasty but heartfelt funeral (lol) the sky began to darken as the clouds rolled in. Having already needed to reschedule our session once due to the threat of rain, there was no way we were going to let Mother Nature win again! So out we ventured, the temperature dropped and it began to drizzle, and like the troopers they all are, they all gave me their best throughout their session anyway! I love how this gallery turned out and cannot WAIT to see the wall art that we created together up on their walls!

Ethan | Barrie Maternity and Newborn Photographer
At the beginning of the Summer, I met up with this gorgeous Mama, then expecting her second son, to help her photographically document her pregnancy. Not long later, she returned with sweet baby Ethan, who was an absolute DREAM to photograph! His big brother was so smitten with him, it was absolutely adorable and touching to watch the love that these three all had for one another. I am honoured to have the pleasure of documenting Ethan’s entire first year as he grows!
When new clients book a session with me, I am frequently asked “Just how many images come with the purchase of the Entire Gallery?” The answer is that the amount varies from session to session. But usually between 35-60 images per session… as you can see below, Ethan’s Mama ended up with A LOT of gorgeous images to help her remember this special time.

I am SO BEHIND on blogging! I have been so busy with sessions and summer holidays that I’ve neglected blogging, yet again (surprise, surprise!) lol! We’re headed into the Fall months, which without fail, always brings me a tonne of families and cake smash sessions! She had so many amazing facial expressions that made shooting her session and editing her gallery quite entertaining!

Jacob | Barrie Newborn Baby Photographer
Wee Jacob’s parents came to visit me with their then 6-day-old bundle of joy back in May. I was SO HONOURED that they chose me to photograph this little miracle, since they lived quite a distance away, and baby Jacob was born via emergency C-Section. He was such an amazing baby to photograph, just so content, laid back, sleepy and sweet! His parents were completely taken with him, and it was very obvious in their family photos! My favourite part of the entire session was when I had everything I needed for my gallery, Jacob had been a rockstar and I was ready to gather him up off my beanbag and hand him back to Mom and Dad… but when I peeked behind my light, I found both Mom and Dad passed completely out (one on the couch, the other on the floor, lol) and so I decided to throw in some bonus material since I didn’t have the heart to wake any of them. 😉
Thank you Mom and Dad, for making the trek to my studio! It was a pleasure!

Hunter | Barrie Newborn Baby and Family Photographer
When I first found out that Hunter was on the way (many months ago now) I was SO excited! His mom has been my BFF for about a billion years now and I have been so very fortunate to not only have photographically documented her teenage years (this may or may not be a good thing for her, lol) but I was also honoured to have been there to capture her wedding, first pregnancy, first newborn session, her first baby’s first birthday, and NOW her first son.
Baby Hunter was such a good baby for me! When he was awake, he flashed me the most adorable, cheeky smiles… but mostly he slept like an angel. I love how this session turned out, and couldn’t wait to share it with you all too!
I will be releasing the dates for my remaining August availability in the next few days (there are only 4 golden hour spots left!) so if you’d like one, now’s the time to contact me! Also, I can take 1 or 2 more newborns for August, and also am accepting newborn bookings into December at this time.

Hudson C | Barrie Newborn Baby and Family Photographer
This little Hudson wasn’t really all that “little”… Nearly 11 lbs of sweet, squishy, chubby newborn goodness – I met him in my Barrie Photography Studio when he was just days old. He was so very alert and happy, not really interested in sleeping, but content to just watch everything that was happening around him. I told Mom and Dad that I didn’t expect I would be able to get him to sleep (he was SO happy and alert!) which they were perfectly fine with, and then all of a sudden, he crashed hard and I was able to put him through nearly every pose in the book!
I absolutely loved meeting this family and working with their new little one. Thank you, Mom and Dad, for trusting me to capture this fleeting time in your life!
