Welcome Hannah | North Bay & Callander Newborn Photographer
Right before I made the move to Callander from Barrie, I received an inquiry for maternity and newborn portraits from a brand new client who I knew I was going to hit it off with right away. Not only could I tell that this Mama had my kind of sense of humour, but we had something else in common that I actually found myself yelling out “NO WAY!” to nobody in particular as I sat all alone in my old studio in front of my computer. (And no, it wasn’t the fact that both of our husband’s are named “Brian”…) 😛
“My old photographer sent me your way” she said. “PS. I noticed your new address as of May 30th…This was OUR first home before we sold it to the people you would have purchased it from!”
I couldn’t wait to meet this family, so when that finally happened for their maternity session in Callander in September, I shot their session, and then we all came back to my new house (their old house) where we chatted on the front lawn until the sun went down. They booked their newborn session shortly after that, and I think it was pretty nostalgic for them to have it happen in the same place where all of their previous sessions had taken place before me.
Their newborn session took place in October, after baby Hannah arrived. The session was fabulous, and I thank this family profusely for putting up with the sounds of construction during their session that are continuing around here even today (thankfully they had a VERY cooperative newborn!) 😛 Their newborn session was the very last one that I did here before construction noise and debris became too much to continue having clients until the addition is complete (in case you wondered why I’m not offering indoor Christmas Minis this year, that’s why…) For the remainder of 2019, I will be visiting clients in their homes for their newborn sessions (both studio and lifestyle varieties), and I have a few spots left in December. Newborn sessions are best booked while you’re still expecting, so if this sounds like you and you would like to snag some space in my December calendar, please CONTACT ME! 🙂
