Hudson | Barrie Newborn Baby and Family Photographer

I haven’t blogged in AGES and I have so many adorable, squishy newborn sessions that need to be shared!  On this day, back in April (has it really already been THAT long ago!?) I met with new baby Hudson and his family in my Barrie Photography Studio for his newborn session.  He was such a dream to work with, and I LOVED the colour theme of moody blacks, greys, and blues that his parents suggested for his session.

 

As far as newborn sessions go, I am currently booking into December (yes, I have December newborns on the calendar already!) with 2 spots left for July,  and 1 left for August.  I will be away for two weeks this Summer with my little family, so if you are expecting and would like to secure a timeslot for yourself in my calendar, please contact me NOW to book to avoid disappointment.

 

Thanks to everyone for keeping me hopping!  Now, enjoy sweet squishy little Hudson’s newborn session!  I promise to have more newborn goodness up on the blog this week as well!

Scarlett | Barrie Cake Smash Photographer

I absolutely love capturing milestones for this family!  Which is what I’ve been doing since their first daughter was just 6 months old.  I met their second little gal, Scarlett, at the same age (6 months) and was thrilled to have the opportunity to do her first birthday portraits as well.  She was such a cheeky little chicky all throughout her cake smash!  Usually, I get little clients who are either a) completely indifferent to the cake and could take it or leave it, b) Love it! or c) HATE it!  Scarlett fell into the LOVE IT category and just couldn’t get enough!  She smiled the entire time, stuck her tongue out at me at the most opportune moments, and just overall put on such a great show that I had a really hard time narrowing down her gallery afterwards!

 

Scarlett’s family ended up with a total over 60 unique images in their gallery, which they used to create a stunning commemorative heirloom album for Scarlett to look back on one day!  I think I’ve mentioned before how much I LOVE albums, so I was thrilled to be able to create this little masterpiece for Scarlett!

 

I’m now booking outdoor sessions for evenings, with my first availability at this time being the last week of May.  If you’re interested, please contact me today!

Sophie | Barrie Child Photographer

In the spirit of being super excited about the nicer weather and absolutely DYING to get outdoors, I thought I would share this little ray of sunshine with you today!  I have been working with Sophie since she was 1, and it has been a pleasure to watch her grow into a beautiful little lady over the years.  I am pretty darn excited to continue to document her life as it moves into the next exciting stage of becoming a big sister by this Summer!  Sophie is going to be the most phenomenal big sister, and if her little sibling has nearly as much character as she does, I’m in for a real treat!  😉

Summer Family Photo Sessions | Barrie Family and Child Photographer

I have so many fun family photo sessions from last season that I haven’t ever had the opportunity to share, and with the 2016 outdoor season upon us, I thought now was the perfect time to start sharing!  I met up with this fun family last summer at The Field for an extended family session.  You  never know what you’re going to get with little boys of this age as well as a toddler!  We had so much fun that night and the end result was some super fun family photos to cherish forever.  🙂

 

Bookings are now open for weekday evening Golden Hour sessions!  Yay! Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings at 5:45pm and 6:45pm… if you’d like a session for yourself, please send me an email or use the Contact Form on this page.

Ellis and Jack | Barrie Twin Newborn Baby Photographer

I can’t really describe how excited I get when I get an inquiry for a twin newborn session!  My absolute passion is newborn photography, so having the rare opportunity to photograph multiples is a treat!  I met these two little munchkins back in February in my Barrie Photography Studio, and with the help of my trusted assistant Nikki, these sweet babies let us put them through six different sets , both together and individually in 1 hour and 30 minutes!  Almost unheard of considering most singleton newborn sessions take north of 3 hours to complete!

 

I couldn’t WAIT for Ellis and Jack’s parents to come back in for their Reveal Session so that I could show them their gallery.  I loved being able to help them sort through their favourites and choose which products and images were going to look best on their walls.  They ended up choosing an AMAZING statement piece for their home (keep scrolling, you’ll see it!)
