I need to start posting blogs more regularly, as I have SO many beautiful images that deserve to see the light of day just clonking around on my hard drives! I mean, of course they’re being enjoyed by my lovely clients too, but they’re so sweet they really should be shared. 😉
As I’m currently pulling together and planning for a one year birthday celebration session in the form of a cake smash (that’s going to be BEAUTIFUL) in the next few weeks, it occurred to me that I never blogged this sweet wee man’s newborn or sitter milestone sessions! So, here we go…
Nearly one year ago, I met newborn baby Aiden and his Mama in my Callander studio for an All Inclusive Newborn session. These sessions include a parent portion (siblings too if they have them!), 1-2 prop sets, 1 fur set, and 2 blanket backdrop sets. Most of the time I’m able to make it through all of these sets plus some, but it all depends on how much baby is willing to let me do. In Aiden’s case, he would have let me pose him forever and a day. What an amazing little baby! He was no different for his Sitter Milestone session, either (these are discounted mini sessions and happen between the 6-9 month mark when babies are sitting confidently unassisted, and consist of 2 sets in a colour palette of your choice). He flashed me giant smiles and showed off those beautiful blue eyes the entire time. I can’t wait to see how he does with his cake smash – will he be all over that cake like I would be? Or will he stick one finger in the icing and decide the balloons are more interesting? We shall see!
