HOPE | A PHOTO SERIES
DAY 2
When I first thought of this idea, I didn’t initially think to look for MOMENTS to photograph. I fully envisioned myself looking for beautiful THINGS in nature that inspired hope in me…
Today, though, my daughter bounced into my studio while I was finishing up some editing… sewing kit and her brother’s beloved stuffed monkey in her arms. Poor wee monkey had an unfortunate run in with Charlie (our family dog) and my son asked my daughter to “do surgery” on him to fix him up again. My heart swelled – the fact that, despite the really good show they put on of hating each other, they really do trust and love one another enough to take care of each other in little ways. If THAT doesn’t give a Mama hope for the future, I don’t know what does! 😊❤️

We can find ways to lift each other up during this, and my way is to encourage you all to find the beauty in your lives at this crazy time.
